What do these changes mean?
In summary, the proposed changes by the State Government include:
- Dual Occupancies on all land zoned R2 in NSW
- New standards for building height, lot size and floor space ratios
- All lots of 450 m2 + 12m street frontage and above, to be eligible for Dual Occs
- All lots of 700 m2 and above eligible for detached Dual Occs
Keep in mind the above is proposed, and all figures are subject to change when the final policy is announced in September, 2024
